Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Non-refundable bookings: Once areservation is confirmed, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are not allowed, except in cases of extreme weather cancellation.
  • No-show: As long as tours operate as usual, tickets are non-refundable even in case of a no-show. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
  • Sail not raised: No refunds or compensation will be offered if the sails are not raised—the raising of sails depends on weather conditions and is not guaranteed.
  • Extreme weather: When Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, or a Red/Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the tour will be canceled and the booking will be rescheduled or refunded depending on the situation. Please visit www.dukling.com.hk for the latest status and announcements.

Passenger & Ticketing Information

  • Adult fare applies to passengers over the age of 11. Child fare applies to passengers aged 4-11 or those with a height exceeding 95 cm.
  • Passengers aged 3 or below can travel free of charge, while reservation is required.
Docking & Sail Appearance
  • Alternative Docking: May change to an alternative pier if congested. Crew will advise.
  • Sail Appearance: Occasional commercial ads may alter the iconic red sail appearance. Tour runs as scheduled; rescheduling available upon request.
     

More Passenger Information

  • The actual departure time from the pier is subject to dock availability and may be slightly delayed if other vessels are occupying the dock.
  • Do not board or alight until the vessel is properly berthed. Passengers must follow the crew’s instructions when boarding and disembarking.  Please be mindful and exercise caution when boarding or alighting the vessel, and kindly ensure the safety of any accompanying children and elderly passengers. 
  • The number of passengers boarding the vessel must not exceed the limit of 35 people. Otherwise, the captain reserves the right to refuse sailing.
  • Passengers must maintain cleanliness on board and refrain from spitting or littering
  • Smoking, gambling and any behaviour that may cause nuisance to other passengers are strictly prohibited on board.
  • Under all circumstances, the captain holds absolute authority and full discretion to select an alternative route, docking location and suspend the service for safety concerns.  
  • In the event of inclement weather during the voyage, such as the issuance of an Amber Rainstorm Warning or Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above, the captain reserves the right to return to the pier early in accordance with maritime regulations. No compensation will be provided for any unused time remaining.     
  • Life vests are available for use on board only in the event of an emergency.
  • Passengers are required to evaluate their physical condition before boarding, especially those with mobility challenges. No refunds will be provided in the event that a passenger is unable to board or complete the voyage due to any personal reasons.
  • Passengers are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings. In the event of property loss on board, the Operator will not assume liability.
  • All required insurance for the vessel has been arranged in accordance with the ordinances of Hong Kong.
  • In the event of any disputes, the decision of the Operator shall be final.
